En el marco de la celebración de la Semana Nacional por la Conservación 2007, la Comisión Nacional de Áreas Naturales Protegidas (CONANP) convocó a las instituciones, organizaciones y a la ciudadanía en su conjunto a sumarse a este gran esfuerzo, participando en actividades de difusión, culturales, académicas o de participación social, dentro de las cuales, la exposición colectiva "Trazos de Coral, Arena y Manglar" cerró con broche de oro este conjunto de actividades.

La inauguración de la muestra, efectuada el sábado 1o. de diciembre a las 5:00 p.m., corrió a cargo de la Directora de la CONANP, Daniella Guevara, quien dió la bienvenida a artistas, organizadores y público en general a la última actividad de la semana por la Conservación.
Participaron artistas tanto de Puerto Morelos, como de Cancún e Isla Mujeres.

In the celebration of the National Week for the Conservation 2007, the National Commission of Natural Protected Areas (CONANP) called for the institutions, organizations and for the citizen to adding to this great effort, taking part in activities of diffusion, cultural, academic or of social participation, inside which, the collective exhibition "Trazos de Coral, Arena y Manglar" closed this set of activities.

The inauguration of the sample, was on the 1st Saturday. From December to 5:00 p.m., it was in charge of the Director of the CONANP, Daniella Guevara, who gave the welcome to artists, staff and public in general to the last activity of the week for the Conservation. Artists form Puerto Morelos, Cancún and Isla Mujeres.

Participaron artistas de amplia experiencia y trayectoria, así como jóvenes promesas que se inician en las artes plásticas.

There took part artists of wide experience and path, as well as young promises that begin in the plastic arts.

Arena y Manglar

Muestra colectiva que se llevó a cabo el 1 y 2 de diciembre, en el Centro de Visitantes del Parque Nacional Arrecife de Puerto Morelos, donde más de 20 artistas de la Riviera Maya ofrecen a través de su obra plástica un caleidoscopio de perspectivas respecto a los significados de vivir en cercanía a un área natural protegida.

Collective sample that was on December 1 and 2, in the Visitors' Center of the National Park Reef of Puerto Morelos, where more than 20 artists of the Riviera Maya offer us across their plastic work an interesting kaleidoscope of perspectives with regard to the meanings to live in nearness to a natural protected area.
