Como tema central: “ecología de almas” se realiza por segunda ocasión el Festival Internacional de Cine de Cancún Riviera Maya 2008.
Este festival elige como máximo 10 finalistas por categoría y cuenta con una Muestra Permanente de Cine de Ecología y Desarrollo Humano. La otra Muestra Permanente, Visionarios, está dedicada al cine actual más interesante e innovador.
